Pastor James D. Wyatt, of Strong Faith Ministries, was called to the ministry at a young age. Coming from a large family with 13 uncles and 12 aunties, he was the youngest and received so much love, which helped him learn early on what not to do. His grandparents served on the local church board, and the entire family participated in the community church, reinforcing the values of a stronger faith in their lives. As I matured, I couldn't leave my upbringing behind, so I married young, started a family, and continued to bring my family to church, nurturing our strong faith together.
I have read the Bible throughout my life, even in my youth, and became fascinated with the stories, though I didn't fully understand my calling until I began my ministry at Monument of Faith Church in Chicago, IL, under the guidance of Apostle RD Henton. I joined the ministry taught by Vance Washington, who holds a doctorate from Moody Bible College, and we studied privately every two weeks for about 10 years, deepening my understanding of strong faith meaning and practice.
Under his mentorship, I learned everything about ministry. He became my father in the gospel, teaching me how to serve the men of God. As I advanced, he often reminded me that God had great things in store for me. He prophesied that I would pastor a church and engage in full-time ministry, traveling across the waters. This has come true, as I now lead a church and have pastor friends all over the waters. I later pursued further education in theological school under Jackie McCullough's leadership, where I'm studying for my degree as part of my journey with Stronger Faith Ministries.
